Wordmatter is the one-man-band writing, development, and publishing company of Ben Morris.
I specialise in mobile, and write books, code, technical papers, technical web content and newsletters to order. I run my own app and publishing projects alongside.
You can read my recent papers at Vodafone developer, documenting WAC 1.0 APIs and sample apps. In upcoming papers the focus shifts to Android.
My book for Samsung last year was the first official developer guide to the bada mobile platform. The BuddyFix app I devised for the book is a hit on the Samsung Apps store and is now open sourced, so you can get your hands on the code.
Way back when, I wrote the Symbian OS Architecture Sourcebook for Symbian Press, contributed chapters to the Symbian OS Design Patterns book, and wrote developer content for pre-Foundation Symbian Ltd, UIQ, Symbian signed, and Samsung Mobile Innovator in its early days as a Symbian shop.
Fun things I'm doing this year include @wotchareading. It's just starting out. So go on. Tweet us what you're reading!
And to keep life in balance, you'll find me toiling part-time in the tiny vineyard at Cascina Giron, in Piemonte, Italy, pursuing my 100-case wine project. Not living the dream so much as working it.
